How to get from Malpensa to Milan: train, taxi or private transfer.

By train: the Malpensa Express

It leaves both terminals every 30 minutes per line: 37 minutes to Cadorna, about 52 to Centrale, 15 euro per person. The most predictable option if your hotel is near one of the two stations; with luggage or a late arrival the last mile is still yours.

By bus: the budget way

Shuttle buses link Malpensa with Milano Centrale for about 10 euro in 50-70 minutes depending on traffic. Cheap and frequent, but they end at the station: from there you need the metro or a taxi.

By taxi: the flat fare

The official taxi rank charges a flat 114 euro between Malpensa and central Milan. No booking: you queue at the exit. Outside the centre the meter runs.

By private transfer: door to door

Your chauffeur is in the arrivals hall with a name sign (T1 or T2), the flight is tracked and the fixed per-vehicle price is locked at booking. You pay on arrival. Lake Como, Lugano, Turin and the Rho fairgrounds too.

The Malpensa Express serves both terminals from early morning until about midnight, every 30 minutes per line. The limit is the last mile: from Cadorna or Centrale you still have to reach your hotel with suitcases, and at night it stops.
